Main Restaurant

The Main Restaurant is a spacious pavilion that guests can dine upon an imaginative buffet menu from around the world, from classic dishes to exotic delights. Chefs are also on hand at live cooking stations to tailor their fresh dishes to your liking.

Sunset Restaurant & Bar

The Sunset Restaurant and Bar is one of the best spots at Filitheyo to watch the spectacular sunsets. It´s located on the tip of the island adjacent to the turquoise ocean. This restaurant offers an international a la carte menu. The delicious dishes are complimented by a wide selection of European and New World wines as well as cocktails and juices. Guests can sit under the shady pavilion or sit in the pool at the swim-up bar. Choices of gourmet menus are also available for private dining on the beach or at the Sunset Restaurant.

Filitheyo Main Bar

Filitheyo Main Bar is framed by the beach on one side and a Japanese-style pond on the other. With a tropical beach vibe and sandy floor, Filitheyo Bar offers a variety of spirits, wine and beer and you can choose to sit either inside or outside on the beach.

Dinner on the Beach

Al fresco dining in the Maldives is a must and Filitheyo Island Resort offers stunning beaches, ocean backdrops and ideal setting for an intimate, romantic evening. Surprise loved one with a private and secluded dinner on the beach, “under the stars” at the water’s edge that will be remembered forever. The Sports Centre

On dry land you can enjoy beach volleyball, table-tennis and billiards or work out in the air-conditioned gym. A selection of board games are available for lazy afternoons and quiet evenings and Wi-Fi is available in the public areas (chargeable).

Water Sports

Watersports Centre offers a host of activities including Stand-up paddling, kayaking and snorkeling. Back on dry land guests can enjoy beach volleyball, table tennis and billards or board games and as well as the gym. For those who enjoy reading, a small library is also available.

Diving 

Filitheyo is one of the finest resorts in the Maldives for diving and the team of multilingual Werner Lau staff are waiting to welcome you. The house reef is in excellent health and there are seven marked access points. Here on the house reef you can discover all kinds of exciting marine life including reef fish, rays, turtles, sharks, eels and lobsters. In the surrounding area, Faafu Atoll, you can explore by dive boat excursion more than 40 pristine reefs, thilas, channels, wrecks and caves bursting with vibrant marine life and healthy corals. As it’s the only resort in the atoll you won’t run into other groups of divers at the dive sites either.

There is a range of SSI courses for uncertified divers or anyone wanting to further their training, such as the drift specialty course. Another popular highlight is the UV night dive (fluro dive) on the house reef – an incredible way of seeing the remarkable underwater world.
